On matchdays, Barking Road operates a system similar to the one on the M20 called operation stack. When the car in front of you stops, simply apply the handbrake, switch off the engine, and leave the car locked. You can return any time before 7pm.
Everyone does it.

The match before clock one of the exec boxes names, they all have who is in them

Match day Drive up to the main car park, look like you know what you are doing and say (for example) "Hello mate you look well, BSM windows mate" then carry on driving, before giving him a chance to look on his list, find an empty space, theres loads. And walk off.

I've been doing it for years/

Only thing is you cant leave early after the match until the fans have dispersed, so go and have a pint somewhere.

I''ve said this before but again:

Advice for parking near Upton Park

1. Get there early to have choice of parking places.
2. Leave absolutely nothing in the car, even minor stuff but especially Laptops, Satnavs etc
3. Park outside a house and not against a Park/Allotment/Side wall etc.
4. If dark park under a lamppost.
5. Take your 1991 Fiesta and not your new Porche.
6. Do not park with your wheels on the pavement you will be ticketed by those very nice Traffic Wardens.

The Queens Market car park.
Set you back about £8 for 5 hours.
5 mins walk past the Queens, time for a swift pint in there first.

Re: Parking near Upton Park
Been years since I drove to a game but from recollection Any of the side streets off of boundary road used to be ok for parking and about 10-15 mins from ground. Just get there early.
